Some things don’t strike close to home until it is right in front of your face.
It happened to me with death brushing nearby and it happened to this cartoonist who drew her breast cancer-battle experience down. And very unlike those self-help books tries to brainwashe with the usual shit, she openly shared her anxieties and doubts in this comic. I am sure the comic has helped to assure a lot of women out there who are going through the same situation that they are not alone.
It’s inspiring to see a woman fighting hard for her life and against breast cancer. With much aplomb and as much positivity that she can muster.
Hadn’t had your mammogram? Go have one. Soaked in the most vile and sedentary lifestyle and diet? Trash it and live your life healthier with the right food and lifestyle choices.
Life only happens, once in your lifetime.
